Steve awoke in a strange bedroom. Where am I? he asked himself as he walked around the room. He could hear familiar voices outside the door. He walked toward the door and listened. It was Max and Henry. Steve could hear them talking about Dylan and Liam, questioning if they were okay and whether they had survived the attack.

Steve realized the strange bedroom was in Georgia’s house. This was the last place he slept. He opened the door and saw Max and Henry.

“Steve!” Henry exclaimed. “So good to see you!”

“Everyone was destroyed in that rainbow griefer attack,” said Max.

“Where is everybody else?” asked Steve.

“They’re in the kitchen,” replied Henry.

Steve found his friends in Georgia’s kitchen and asked, “Is it morning?”

“Yes,” Georgia laughed, “but that’s not important. We need to know how everyone is feeling. Yesterday was intense.”

“I lost my diamond sword,” Steve cried out. “When I was destroyed, they took it from me! Now the rainbow griefers have my sword.”

“We all lost our weapons,” said Henry. “It’s awful.”

“Don’t worry, I have diamonds and we can craft new swords,” Georgia told them.

“Enough for all of us?” asked Sophie.

“Yeah, we have the diamonds from the temple!” remembered Steve.

“I put them in a chest by my enchanting table,” Georgia told them, and the gang followed Georgia to the area where she kept her enchanting table and anvil. She opened the chest.

“It’s empty!” Lucy cried out. “Somebody must have stolen the diamonds when we were fighting.”

“I wonder what else they took,” said Georgia as she walked to the chest she kept in her bedroom, which was filled with armor and potions. She opened it, and it was also emptied. She gasped. “I have nothing!”

“I think we might have to go mining,” Henry told them.

Steve wanted his diamond sword. Even if he found a million diamonds, he could never make a sword that was as meaningful as the diamond sword he had worked so hard to create. Also, Steve knew finding diamonds wasn’t easy. “How are we going to find enough diamonds to make swords?” he wondered.

“I know a great mine outside the village. If we mine there, we might find a bunch of diamonds. It’s our only hope,” replied Georgia.

The group suited up for mining and held pickaxes as they silently trekked toward the mine. Everyone’s spirits were down.

Finally Lucy spoke, breaking the silence. “What happened to Dylan and Liam?”

“They destroyed me,” Steve informed the group. “They weren’t our friends. They tricked us. They work with the rainbow griefers.”

“I knew it!” Georgia exclaimed.

“I suspected it, too,” added Steve, “but I didn’t think they’d destroy me with their diamond swords.”

“I bet they have all of our stuff,” theorized Georgia. “If we find them, we won’t have to mine for diamonds.”

The mine was just a few feet away.

“We need to mine for diamonds. We need to have powerful swords to battle Dylan and Liam,” Henry said as he walked into the mine.

“Look out!” Max called out.

“Rainbow griefers?” asked Henry.

“No, a cave spider!” Kyra grabbed a wooden sword from her inventory and smashed the spider.
